Treatment Approach

You can reclaim your life from anxiety, stress, and medical concerns. You can live a more vibrant and healthy life, and I can walk with you every step of the way through your major struggles and everyday experiences. I will support you in taking action to improve what you can control and navigate what you can’t with deep compassion. You do not have to face these problems alone. Together we will explore the approaches and tools to help you define and move towards a life filled with what matters most to you. My additional subspecialties include: cancer, insomnia, and working with caregivers of those facing medical illness.

As a clinical health psychologist, I am committed to using compassionate, evidence-based counseling techniques including cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based approaches, and to identifying the specific approaches that most resonate with you. My style is down-to-earth, warm, and collaborative, and I tend to use compassionate humor in my work.

I am glad you are reaching out for support. To learn more about me and my practice or to schedule an initial phone consultation, please visit www.nehealthpsych.com. I am licensed in both Massachusetts and California, and can meet with telehealth clients located in either state. I can see patients in person in Boston (Back Bay), MA.
