Elizabeth Eber, PhD

I’m an experienced Licensed Clinical Psychologist. I specialize in working with adults of all ages who have difficulty managing their emotions, are struggling to navigate life transitions, or who feel stuck in unhelpful patterns of behavior in their relationships or daily lives. I also have expertise in working with individuals who have had traumatic experiences that continue to negatively impact their lives and with those who have developed an over-reliance on alcohol or drugs to cope with stress and want to reduce their use. I am currently providing services to clients throughout the state of Massachusetts by telehealth.

My approach to care is most often informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also often incorporate family systems and interpersonal approaches. I work with each of my clients to build a shared understanding of their problems and concerns so that we can collaboratively determine how we’ll work together to help them reach their desired goals.

My style is warm, calm, and personable. I strive to create an open and non-judgmental environment where each client feels safe and comfortable talking with me. I’m a good listener, and I’m also comfortable taking a more active role, especially when my clients are seeking to learn new coping skills.

I am in-network with many insurance plans and with Medicare. You can use this link to obtain more information on whether I’m a network provider with your particular insurance plan and to schedule an initial visit with me: https://www.rula.com/providers/MA/1093811010?
