Lucienne Cohen Psy.D., PMH-C
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and women’s health specialist. I see myself as a guide to helping people through life’s most complex and difficult moments. My specialties include maternal mental health, disordered eating, body image concerns, perfectionistic tendencies, anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, and trauma.
My Approach
I use relational, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral therapy to examine how the beliefs we tell ourselves shape our experiences in life and relationships.
With a trauma-informed lens, I help clients disrupt stress cycles by challenging unhelpful thought patterns, understanding relationships, setting boundaries, managing expectations, and identifying what matters most to the client. I use principles of self-compassion to support clients in caring for themselves in a sustainable way.
Taking an individualized approach, I consider your history, values, and identity as central to creating sustainable change. In our work, you can expect a compassionate, authentic, and relationship-centered experience. I'll help you gain insight, become aware of and connected to feelings, and develop a greater understanding of your strengths and challenges.
